(After many hours of deliberation, we decided the best way to structure the about section would be in the form of a conversation, so please sit down and visualise this)
GP: Welcome to Grape Productions, please take your shoes off and use the slippers provided
You: “Can I touch the turtle”
GP: “No please don’t harass the turtle”
GP: “Now, Lets get down to business, So you want to know who we are? Well, Grape productions comprises of just 2 people known as Ben Daure & Tom Box. We create everything from music videos and short films to animations and adverts. We have been hyperactively creating things for about 5 years now, Ben on the video and animation side and Box on the illustration side with only minimal casualties… which is good”
You: “Well, to be quite honest I couldn’t be more impressed, I’d sign my life over to you right now but I would like to know a few more things, like can I commission you to do a piece of video, animation or marshmallow art”
GP: “Originally we wouldn’t dream of taking on work from people after years of the “it would be a great opportunity for you to make me a video for my mate Jim who runs a used rock store” theme. However times change and those people have long since perished in the fire, so the answer is yes, we do accept commissions, story and budget depending. If you have a superb idea or intriguing prospects though, we may be able to wave past the budget”
You: “My god you look delicious, but besides that, what sort of work can you deliver”
GP: “We are delicious, and can deliver a professional high quality polished video, animation or artwork for you, but I’ll put this trumpet away and let you decide for yourself, why not take a look at our most recent work on here”
You: “Well I’m sold, here are the keys to my car, but just before I go. Why do you do this, you sit in a dark room all day with no one to talk to except the rats, get paid nothing and struggle to find food during the weekends….why?”
GP: “Well I’m glad you asked that, both myself and Box have always strived to be the very best in what we do. We have been beaten down, rejected and chased out of villages with pitchforks but after all that we still absolutely love doing what we do. We do it for the satisfaction of creating entertainment for an Internet generation and will never ever stop doing it. People may strike us down, they may reject our philosophies but they will never halt the behemoth that will eventually CRUSH everything in it’s path…… basically because we think it’s bloody fantastic”
You: Your words are so clear and have reached me in a way no human ever could. After I have been home and set up my shrine to you, would you accept my offer to be a part of one of these masterpieces
